All Souls Night
History of Samhain (pronounced Sow-en), dates back to the ancient Celts who lived 2,000 years ago. Contrary to what some believe, is not a celebration of a Celtic god of the dead. Instead, it is a Celtic word meaning "summer's end." The Celts believed that summer came to an end on October 31st and the New Year began on November 1st with the start of winter. But the Celts also followed a lunar calendar and their celebrations began at sunset the night before. Many today see Halloween as the pagan holiday. But that's not really accurate. As the pagan holiday of Samhain is on November 1st. But their celebrations did and still do, start at sunset on October 31st, on Samhain Eve. During the day on October 31st, the fires within the home are extinguished. Often families would engage in a good "fall" cleaning to clear out the old and make way for the new. Starting the winter months with fresh and clean household items. At sunset on October 31, clans or local villages begin the formal ceremonies of Samhain by lighting a giant bonfire. The people would gather around the fire to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities. It was a method of giving the Gods and Goddesses their share of the previous years herd or crops. In addition these sacred fires were a big part of the cleansing of the old year and a method to prepare for the coming new year. During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes, and danced around the bonfire. Many of these dances told stories or played out the cycles of life and death or commemorated the cycle of Wheel of Life. These costumes were adorned for three primary reasons. The first was to honor the dead who were allowed to rise from the Otherworld. The Celts believed that souls were set free from the land of the dead during the eve of Samhain. Those that had been trapped in the bodies of animals were released by the Lord of the Dead and sent to their new incarnations. The wearing of these costumes signified the release of these souls into the physical world. Not all of these souls were honored and respected. Some were also feared as they would return to the physical world and destroy crops, hide livestock or 'haunt' the living who may have done them wrong. The second reason for these traditional costumes was to hide from these malevolent spirits to escape their trickery. The final representation was a method to honor the Celtic Gods and Goddesses of the harvest, fields and flocks. Giving thanks and homage to those deities who assisted the village or clan through the trials and tribulations of the previous year. And to ask for their favor during the coming year and the harsh winter months that were approaching. In addition to celebrations and dance, it was believed that this thin veil between the physical world and the Otherworld provided extra energy for communications between the living and the dead. With these communications, Druid Priests, and Celtic Shamans would attempted to tell the fortunes of individual people through a variety of methods. For a people entirely dependent on the volatile natural world, these prophecies were an important source of comfort and direction during the long, dark winter. Samhain to Halloween With the coming of Christianity in the 800s AD, the early Church in England tried to Christianize the old Celtic festivals. Pope Boniface IV designated the 1st of November as "All Saints Day," honoring saints and martyrs. He also decreed October 31 as "All Hallows Eve", that eventually became Hallow'een. Scholars today widely accept that the Pope was attempting to replace the earlier Celtic pagan festival with a church-sanctioned holiday. As this Christian holiday spread, the name evolved as well. Also called All-hallows Eve or All-hallowmas (from Middle English Alholowmesse meaning All Saints' Day). 200 years later, in 1000 AD, the church made November 2 All Souls' Day, a day to honor the dead. It is celebrated similarly to Samhain, with big bonfires, parades, and dressing up in costumes as saints, angels, and devils. Together, the three celebrations, the eve of All Saints', All Saints', and All Souls' day, are called Hallowmas.

Souls of men why will ye scatter
Souls of men, why will ye scatter Like a crowd of frightened sheep? Foolish hearts, why will ye wander From a love so true and deep? Was there ever kindest shepherd Half so gentle, half so sweet, As the Saviour who would have us Come and gather round his feet? There's a wideness in God's mercy, Like the wideness of the sea; There's a kindness in his justice, Which is more than liberty. There is no place where earth's sorrows Are more felt than up in heaven; There is no place where earth's failings Have such kindly judgment given. There is welcome for the sinner, and more graces for the good; there is mercy with the Savior; there is healing in his blood. There is plentiful redemption in the blood that has been shed; there is joy for all the members in the sorrows of the Head. For the love of God is broader Than the measure of man's mind. And the heart of the Eternal Is most wonderfully kind. But we make his love too narrow By false limits of our own; And we magnify its strictness With a zeal he will not own. Pining souls, come nearer Jesus, And O come not doubting thus, But with faith that trusts more bravely His great tenderness for us. If our love were but more simple, We should take him at his word: And our lives would be all sunshine In the sweetness of our Lord. holy song for the dead - christian orthodox - superb
http://www.orthodoxphotos.com/history.shtml How old is The Orthodox Faith? http://www.stanthonysmonastery.org/music/Index.html The Divine Music Projecthttp://www.orthodoxphotos.com/Pascha_Holy_Light/ Miracle in the Orthodox Church: The Ceremony of the Holy Light in Jerusalem Origin of the Eastern Orthodox Church The Orthodox Church began at Pentecost. It was founded by our Lord Jesus Christ, when after His Ascension, He sent down upon His Apostles the Holy Spirit who proceeds from God the Father as is written in the New Testament. The Orthodox Church of today can trace its history back to the New Testament Church in unbroken continuity. The Apostles, as per our Lord's command, preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ and founded churches in Europe, Asia and Africa. Under the direction of the Apostles and their successors, whom they appointed to carry on their mission, the Orthodox Church began to thrive. At each city and town that the Apostles traveled they would appoint a bishop to continue to minister to the faithful, before leaving on their missionary journeys. As the Church grew, the bishops in turn had to appoint priests and deacons to help them with their flock. Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came into the world by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary; thus, the Church gave Him the title "Theanthropos" i.e., the God-man. The Orthodox Church clearly teaches that Jesus Christ was fully divine and fully human. The purpose of Jesus Christ's coming to earth was to reconcile mankind to God. In order to do this, God, in the person of Jesus Christ, had to become fully human. He had to experience all the pain, temptations and sufferings that all human beings face. Finally, having preached, taught, healed and performed many miracles, He had to experience the last pain that all people must undergo: death. Thus, He allowed Himself to be crucified. As a human being, He died; but, being God, He rose from the dead, proving that all who believe and follow Him will do likewise. This is why Jesus Christ is called "Savior," for He saves us from death. The Virgin Mary The Virgin Mary is the woman God chose to bear His Son in this world. The Orthodox believe in the ever-virginity of Mary. Since God chose her to manifest His presence among men, she is called, " All Holy" and the bridge between God and man. For this reason, she is highly praised and venerated in the Orthodox Church. The Orthodox always pray to the Virgin Mary, beseeching her to intercede for us to God. The Orthodox do not worship the Virgin Mary-worship is do to God alone. The Orthodox make a distinction between worship and intercessory prayer. Just as we ask other people to pray for us, we ask the Virgin Mary, for she has found favor in God's eyes and has a very unique relationship with God, to pray (intercede) for us. It should be noted that the Virgin Mary and all the saints are ceaselessly praying for all of us.

The Divine Mercy Chaplet
Chaplet given to St. Faustina by Our Lord Jesus Christ to appease the just wrath of God. Made for Gaudencio--sorry, but I couldn't change the words of the Apostle's Creed, but otherwise I hope it is as your requested. How to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Promises Given by Jesus to St. Faustina: (The DIARY of Saint sister Faustina) VILNIUS, Lithuania "September 13, 1935. In the evening, when I was in my cell, I saw an Angel, the executor of divine wrath. He was clothed in a dazzling robe, his face gloriously bright, a cloud beneath his feet. From the cloud, bolts of thunder and flashes of lightning were springing into his hands; and from his hand they were going forth, and only then were they striking the earth. When I saw this sign of divine wrath which was about to strike the earth, and in particular a certain place, which for good reasons I cannot name, I began to implore the Angel to hold off for a few moments, and the world would do penance. But my plea was a mere nothing in the face of the divine anger. (...) At that very moment I felt in my soul the power of Jesus' grace, which dwells in my soul. When I became conscious of this grace, I was instantly snatched up before the Throne of God. (...) I found myself pleading with God for the world with words heard interiorly. As I was praying in this manner, I saw the Angel's helplessness: he could not carry out the just punishment which was rightly due fors sins. Never before had I prayed with such inner power as I did then. The words with which I entreated God are these: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ for our sins and those of the whole world; for the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us. The next morning, when I entered chapel, I heard these words interiorly: Every time you enter the chapel, immediately recite the prayer which I taught you yesterday. When I had said the prayer, in my soul I heard these words: This prayer will serve to appease My wrath. You will recite it for nine days, on the beads of the rosary, in the following manner: First of all, you will say one OUR FATHER and HAIL MARY and the I BELIEVE IN GOD. Then on the OUR FATHER beads you will say the following words: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. On the HAIL MARY beads you will say the following words: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. In conclusin, three times you will recite these words: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us nad on the whole world" (Diary, 474-476). "Oh, what great graces I will grant to souls who say this chaplet (...) Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them" (Diary, 848) . "Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it, they will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy" (Diary, 687). THE PROMISE OF THE GRACE OF MERCY FOR THE DYING "It pleases Me to grant everything souls ask of Me by saying the chaplet. When hardened sinners say it, I will fill their souls with peace, and the hour of their death will be a happy one. Write this for the benefit of distressed souls; when a soul sees and realizes the gravity of its sins, when the whole abyss of the misery into which it immersed itself is displayed before its eyes, let it not despair, but with trust let it throw itself into the arms of My mercy, as a child into the arms of its beloved mother (...). Tell them no soul that has called upon My mercy has been disappointed or brought to shame. I delight particularly in a soul that has placed its trust in My goodness. Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the merciful Savior" (Diary, 1541). "At the hour of their death, I defend every soul that will say this chaplet as I do My own glory (...). When this chaplet is said by the bedside of a dying person, God's anger is placated and his unfathomable mercy envelops the soul" (Diary, 811).

The Most Powerful Abundance Prayer I've Come Across
I stumbled upon this prayer online by accident. The minute I started reading through the first few lines, I had goosebumps all over my body; and to me that was a very good sign - I've finally found the perfect abundance prayer that complements my mind movies and affirmations. This prayer is by far the most powerful abundance prayer I've ever used. It has kept me focused and in tune at all times. Hope this abundance prayer will have the same effect on all of you who ever use it. Use this prayer daily for a fast manifestation of your goals and desires. This has already brought so much blessings to all of those who use it, including me. This is a powerful tool in applying the Law of Attraction in your life. Try it. You got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Credits go to Simona Rich for posting this prayer on her website, to Maureen Moss who improved the prayer, and to the original author who unfortunately is unknown. Thank you very much for your kind hearts and souls. _______________________________________ DISCLAIMER: The track is called N-019 by Relaxdaily which I purchased from relaxdaily.net. CWU Chamber Choir: Gjeilo - "Luminous Night of the Soul"
"Luminous Night of the Soul" (Ola Gjeilo) is sung by The Central Washington University Chamber Choir (Gary Weidenaar, director) joined by Ola Gjeilo on the piano and the Kairos String Quartet (comprised of CWU string faculty). In May, 2013, composer Ola Gjeilo spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus, joining the choir in recording 4 of his pieces. This performance of Gjeilo's "Luminous Night of the Soul" is from that session. The other pieces were "Sanctus" for a cappella choir, and "Across The Vast, Eternal Sky", also with the composer at the piano and joined by the Kairos Quartet. The final piece, "Ubi Caritas II: Through Infinite Ages", was recorded both in an unaccompanied rendition (how it is written and published) and in a version with Mr. Gjeilo improvising an accompaniment to the choir. This was Ola's second time on CWU's campus. His first visit was in the spring of 2011 and yielded 5 videos of his music, a wide-ranging interview with the composer and other bonus material. It resulted in a DVD entitled "In the Moment", available for purchase at http://goo.gl/Xld0o). As of 2013, the CWU Chamber Choir also has recorded videos of the music of Byrd, Gretchaninoff, Monteverdi, Muehleisen, Singh, Victoria, and Rautavaara on YouTube. A complete listing of the videos of the CWU Chamber Choir and other CWU Music Ensembles can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/CWUmusicdept OR - - To follow the choir on Facebook (page includes selected audio clips and URL's to all videos): https://www.facebook.com/CWU.Chamber.Choir The session was recorded with 6 hd cameras and the videos edited by Matt Woodard (http://www.mattwoodard.com) using Adobe Premier Pro software. All CWU Chamber Choir videos found on YouTube are posted only after an agreement is reached or a contract is signed with the composer and/or copyright holder of the piece(s).

First we begin with the prayer of St. Gertrude at 11:30 pm the 22/23/24th of November: Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen. A hail Mary and Glory follows. Then the prayer to Almighty Father for all persecuted Christians: Almighty Father, Father of Mercy, Father of all comfort, Yahveh King of the heavenly armies, I beg You for the most holy wounds of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ that You send Your Strong Arm to protect all around the world who is persecuted by the world powers, the powers of the devil and his minions; people persecuted because of their voice and example which testifies of the good news of Jesus and Your Kingdom, people who love more than their own lives Your only begotten Son in whom You are well pleased, send your strong arm: Archangel St.Michael, Archangel St. Gabriel, Archangel St. Raphael and all the guardian angels to protect them, I beg You Lord for the wounds of Thy most Holy Son. Amen. Immediately pray Archangel St. Michael's chaplet: O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, etc. [Say one Our Father and three Hail Marys after each of the following nine salutations in honor of the nine Choirs of Angels] 1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen. 2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim may the Lord grant us the grace to leave the ways of sin and run in the paths of Christian perfection. Amen. 3. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility. Amen. 4. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominations may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and overcome any unruly passions. Amen. 5. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues may the Lord preserve us from evil and falling into temptation. Amen. 6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers may the Lord protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil. Amen. 7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. Amen. 8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works in order that we may attain the glory of Heaven. Amen. 9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted in the life to come to Heaven. Amen. Say one Our Father in honor of each of the following leading Angels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and our Guardian Angel. Concluding prayers: O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day. Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises. Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence. This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer Is The Incense To God (Stereo)
1. Prayer is the incense of a holy heart Rising to God from bruised and broken things, When kindled by the Spirit's burning breath And upward borne by faith's ascending wings. 2. Prayer is the perfume of the plants of grace, The flow'rs of patience, faith, and suff'ring love; Treasured in "vials full of odors sweet,'' God breathes their fragrance in His courts above. 3. Prayer is th' ascending vapor which supplies The showers of blessing, and the stream that flows Through earth's dry places, till on every side "The wilderness shall blossom as the rose.'' 4. Prayer is the golden pipes the Spirit fills, Which feed the lamps of God with oil divine, And, as with one accord we wait and pray, The Spirit fills, the lamps with brightness shine. 5. Prayer is the mightiest force of earth and heav'n, Prayer is the very dynamite of God; It moves the hand that all things moves, and turns The living wheels that sweep through earth abroad. 6. Teach us to pray! Move on our hearts, O Lord, Till Thine own passion all our being move! Teach us! Pray in us, till our prayer shall be Christ in us praying to the Christ above!

Feast of Title Evensong at Leeds Church, Kent. Magnificat.
Sung to a chant by James Turle (Set 'A') from Nicholson's Parish Psalter....once a staple-diet of every village choir! This choir is the remnant of the village choir which formerly existed here, augmented with a few other souls. This once-yearly Sung Evensong here for Feast of Title is becoming a firm fixture in the church calendar, and is a nostalgic chance for us to meet again. Time precluded any rehearsal on this Canticle, so it is heard here sung 'from scratch'. 8th December 2013.

Continuous Global Loop of the Muslim Call to Prayer ┇Unstoppable Miracle ┇
The Continuous Global Loop of the Muslim Call to Prayer... Adhaan sounds all around the world - continuously non stop and Insha'Allah will continue to be heard until the end of Time. Adhaan is the call to prayer for Muslims. Q. Do you know where the adhaan starts every morning? Where the first iqama is recited and who prays the first salah? A. For millions of years the sun has sent its very first rays to the Kamchatka Peninsula which lies to the east of Japan and under Russia, flowing like a hook onto the ocean ... The very first people to see the rising sun are those in Kamchatka. They are the first ones who initiate and bear testimony of the Call to Prayer as the Athaan is generated around the World! And, what a blessed call it is ... The morning Athaan, which starts in Kamchatka, makes a stop in every country, on the meridians, and searches for minarets to make its call in every city. Bukhara, Isfahan, Damascus, Mecca, Medina, Urfa, Istanbul: they all resound with the rich voices of the muethin calling the Athaan. Athaan is read throughout the world every second. Humanity is called to salvation. All the Muethins from Arabia, Persia, Turkey, Bosnia, repeat the same sentence: Allahu Akbar! (God is Greatest) | We Are All, as Children of Adam {AS}, Born With an Instinctive Knowledge About Allah {SWT}. *If you get goosebumps when you hear this - WHY? There is something primordial about a sonorous Call to Prayer, which reconnects each of us, as Children of Adam {AS}, to the Original Covenant in the Realm of Souls. وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِن بَنِي آدَمَ مِن ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتَ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُواْ بَلَى شَهِدْنَا أَن تَقُولُواْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَذَا غَافِلِينَ "Recall that your Lord summoned all the Descendants of Adam, and had them Bear Witness for themselves: "Am I not your Lord?" They all said, "Yes. We bear witness." Thus, you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, "We were not aware of this."-{Surah Al-A'raf, The Heights, 7:172} Like Us on Facebook Page:[https://www.facebook.com/Thisisperfectislam] Subscribe to Us On Youtube:[https://www.youtube.com/CTrickyo] Comment || LIKE || SHARE || Help us grow ! How Can the Saints in Heaven Hear Our Prayers?
An understandable objection: How can people in Heaven hear even the unspoken prayers of everyone asking their intercession? Also, how can those who are experiencing the perfect happiness of Heaven be aware of suffering on earth? St. Thomas Aquinas responds: http://www.newadvent.org/summa/5072.htm Proof that the early church had this practice, contra Philipp Melanchthon: http://www.catholic.com/tracts/the-in... Dominic Foo replies: "The question also involves how can the saints, who possess finite minds, process thousands upon thousands of prayers made to them at one go. God of course possessing an infinite mind and being omniscient can pay attention to billions of his worshippers simultaneously with a literal undivided attention. That the same applies to saints is not self-evident. No matter how blessed be the state of the saints in heaven, or how elevated or exalted their minds, they still possess finite and limited minds and as such, cannot pay attention to thousands of invocations simulatenously." This is where this concept is relevant: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aevum

Trisagion Prayers
These are the introductory prayers that are said before services and personal prayer. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee, O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, Who art everywhere present and fillest all things, Treasury of blessings and Giver of life: come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity and save our souls O Good ONe. Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us (x3) Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. O Lord cleanse us from our sins. O Master, pardon our transgressions. O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Thy Name's sake. Lord have mercy (x3) Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen Our Father, Who art in the Heavens, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. They will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us. Amen.
Song 120-On The Resurrection Morn. — Orchestra Arrangements
H. O. H. FELIX MENDELSSOHN BARTHOLDT. 1. On the resurrection morn, When from death all souls are born, When all hear the trumpet's peal, Every sickness Thou shalt heal. Thou shalt open blinded eyes, Listen to each voice that cries; Thou shalt open all deaf ears, Till each soul the gospel hears; Thou shalt open all deaf ears, Till each soul the gospel hears. 2. To Thy people Thou hast vowed That Thou wilt resist the proud; Thou wilt give the humble grace, Thou wilt meet them face to face. Thou shalt guide them with Thy Word, By Thy counsel rightly heard, And provide a happy home, Refuge from whence none shall roam; And provide a happy home, Refuge from whence none shall roam. 3. There shall be no sighing there, Neither crying anywhere, Every trust shall then be true. In the earth and heavens new, Thro' the endless ages blest, Never more by doubt oppressed, All shall sing with one accord Praises to their gracious Lord; All shall sing with one accord Praises to their gracious Lord.

http://www.truths.com/index.html Prayer for divine love Our Father, who art in heaven, we recognize that thou art all holy, loving and merciful; and that we are thy children, and not the subservient or depraved creatures that false teachers would have us believe. We are the greatest of thy creation, and the most wonderful of all thy handiworks, and the objects of thy great soul's love and ortenderest care. Thy will is that we become at-one with thee, and partake of thy great love, which thou hast bestowed upon us through thy mercy and desire that we become, in truth, thy children—through love, and not through the sacrifice and death of any of thy creatures. We pray that thou will open up our souls to the inflowing of thy love, and that then may come thy holy spirit to bring into our souls this love in great abundance, until our souls shall be transformed into the very essence of thyself. And that there may come to us faith—such faith as will cause us to realize that we are truly thy children, and one with thee in very substance, and not in image only. Let us have such faith as will cause us to know that thou art our Father, the bestower of every good and perfect gift, and that only we ourselves can prevent thy love changing us from the mortal to the immortal. Let us never cease to realize that thy love is waiting for each and all of us, and that when we come to thee in faith and earnest aspiration, thy love will never be withholden from us. Keep us in the shadow of thy love every hour and moment of our lives, and help us to overcome all the temptations of the flesh, and the influence of the lower ones, who so constantly surround us and endeavor to turn our thoughts away from thee, to the distractions and allurements of this world. We thank thee for thy love, and the privilege of receiving it. We know that thou art our Father—the loving Father who smiles upon us in our weakness, and is always ready to help us and take us to thy arms of love. We pray thus with all the earnestness and sincere longings of our souls, and trusting in thy love, give thee all the glory, honor, and love that our finite souls can give. http://www.truths.com/index.html
