MD-87 TRIP REPORT | DAT Danish Air Transport | SK703 Helsinki - Stockholm | OY-JRU

38:54
Flight experience on board the world's oldest flying McDonnell Douglas MD-87 On Friday I had a special opportunity to fly on board the oldest flying MD-87 as DAT operated Scandinavian Airlines' HEL - ARN sector for one day. SK703 was normally operated by Blue1's B717s but now when they are out of service SAS had to wet lease some planes from DAT because of the lack of capacity. Luckily SAS chose to lease also OY-JRU and as soon as I noticed the aircraft change I was planning my MD-87 round-trip to Arlanda. This was the first of Friday's eight MD-87 flights between Helsinki and Stockholm. After doing some plane spotting at ARN I eventually came back home on board the same MD-87 on the day's last flight, SK724. Ten years ago I flew on board Finnair's MD-83 (OH-___) to Skiathos so this was actually my second type of Mad Dog to travelled on (if B717 not included)! Being able to fly again on a MD felt like a distant dream for me, but when Blue1's last B717 flight wasn't operated by a B717 and replaced by this old lady I suddenly found myself sitting on board a (cramped but) nostalgic Mad Dog. At the moment I am working on many trip reports and flight experience videos at the moment... Such as Finnair A350 and Blue1 717s. This one however contains all the main stages of the flight: Views of Terminal 1, borading, taxi, takeoff, cabin views, descend and landing! I'll soon include a list of different flight stages below from where you can choose what to watch if so desired... Summary: The flight experience on board this classic Mad Dog was absolutely amazing! Naturally, I can easily overlook the cramped cabin, since this flight was all about the MD-87 and all the nostalgic features it has to offer. Despite the age of OY-JRU the cabin was really clean and seats compreable to the ones Blue1 had. The service on board was really great too and we were welcomed aboard with wide smile which lastet the whole flight. The onboard service seemed to be standard for SAS's domestic service which included complimentary coffee, tea and water. In addition DAT had their own beverage cards in the seat pockets, but I'm not sure if it was possible to order something from them. Since the flight is airborne for only 40 minutes it was really only coffee and tea they had time to serve but that's obviously enough for such a short flight. Overall this was really really nice flight experience and even exceeded my expectations because of the nice atmosphere in the cabin! Big thank you to the whole crew for this amazing flight experience on board the MD-87! _________________________________________________________________ Likes, comments and subscriptions are always welcome and much appreciated! :) Please watch in FullHD! © ViewsOfFlying 2015

BIG PLANE TRIP Trailer 2015

01:54
Experience what it’s like to fly on a big plane! Sit with the pilots in the cockpit of an international airliner on a flight from the USA to Switzerland. Learn how airplanes work. Go through pilot training, visit the control tower, and discover how many people it really takes to make a big plane trip work. You’ll even fly through the Swiss alps and land in the fog. As an added bonus, there is a child’s tour of Switzerland. Experience an antique toy museum, a chocolate factory, an alpine train, and miniature Swiss village! “My son was 3 when he first saw The Big Plane Trip, and since then we have purchased several more titles from the Big Adventure series. Each video is so well presented that adults enjoy watching them along with the children. They are well filmed and intelligently narrated. I especially like the way children ask and answer questions on the video. Currently my son is in love with The Big Airshow. We also have The Big Submarine, The Big Aircraft Carrier, The Big Zoo, and others. They are pretty much a guaranteed hit, and grown-ups as well as children come away with more knowledge.” – Customer review The BIG Plane Trip is part of the award-winning BIG Adventure Series® from Little Mammoth Media®. TRIP REPORT - US Airways (E175, 757), St. Louis to St. Maarten

23:56
With the official end to the US Airways brand this past month, I thought it was a good time to present my last-ever trip on the airline back in May. For airline nerds like myself, this was an interesting time to fly US Airways/American. The merger was going full-steam ahead at the time. When we passed through Charlotte (the biggest US Airways hub), about half of the planes were repainted in the new American Airlines livery. Even the crew kept switching off between the 2 different names. On this trip, I was traveling with my family on vacation right after graduating from college. We tried something new, and rented a small condo on the island of St. Maarten. To get there, I originally booked us on an American Airlines itinerary connecting in Miami both ways. However, the flight times changed drastically, and I switched us over to a US Airways itinerary via Charlotte for no additional charge. Even better, this new itinerary meant that we got to fly on 2 of my favorite aircraft: The Embraer E175 (absolutely the best regional jet out there right now), and the Boeing 757 (an awesome large single-aisle plane capable of flying very challenging routes). Plus, Charlotte has always been one of my favorite hubs. The whole experience went flawlessly, so it was a great last experience with US Airways. I'll miss the brand, but I'm optimistic about the future of the new American Airlines. TRIP REPORT - Brussels Airlines Economy Class flight to Krakow on an Airbus A319

AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vnB59Zi3AI&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gGcY8HOUkh-fWwELBYuWXn2 This is a flight review (Trip Report) of our Brussels Airlines Economy Class flight from Brussels Airport (BRU) to Krakow Airport (KRK) onboard a Brussels Airlines Airbus A319. We had flown into Brussels from Copenhagen and this was our connection flight to Krakow. Our flight departed from Gate 49 in concourse A. This was the same concourse our flight from Copenhagen Airport arrived in. Our Brusssels Airlines flight footage includes some short footage of Brussels airport, boarding from our gate, walking onto our aircraft (Airbus A319), pushback, takeoff, onboard cabin views, outdoor flight views, passenger cabin information including inflight meals, inflight drinks (or the lack of them) before we begin our descent and final approach towards Krakow Airport (John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice). The viewer then gets a view of our landing, some of the aircraft´s taxiing at the airport before rain makes it difficult to see out of the window (pity because there were many Polish Airforce planes lined up at the airport). We then include our tarmac disembarkation of our flight from the aircrafts rear door. We are them met by a bus which drives us to the airport arrivals terminal. The footage ends with some views of the baggage claim area before we round off with the arrivals area at Krakow Airport. Krakow Airport is currently undergoing a major modernization. The Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 (Airbus A319-112) we flew with had aircraft registration OO-SSI. This aircraft had her first flight in April 2009 and joined the Brussels Airlines fleet in March 2015. Prior to this the aircraft has also been operated by Hamburg International, Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines. This Brussels Airlines flight review footage is filmed at Brussels Airport concourse A (BRU) inside a Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 and at Krakow Airport (KRK). It operates to over 75 destinations in Europe, North America and Africa and also offers additional charter services, maintenance and crew training. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance as well as the International Air Transport Association and the Association of European Airlines. The airline's IATA code SN is inherited from its predecessors, Sabena and SN Brussels Airlines..." Wiki writes about the Airbus A320 family, "The Airbus A320 family consists of short- to medium-range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin-engine jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. The family includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321, as well as the ACJ business jet. The A320s are also named A320ceo (current engine option) after the introduction of the A320neo. Final assembly of the family in Europe takes place in Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany. Starting in 2009, a plant in Tianjin, China, has also been producing aircraft for Chinese airlines. In April 2013, Airbus started construction of a new production facility for the A319, A320, and A321 variants in Mobile, Alabama. The aircraft family can accommodate up to 220 passengers and has a range of 3,100 to 12,000 km (1,700 to 6,500 nmi), depending on model....". 25 Reasons Why Fear Of Flying Is Plane Silly

05:06
We’ve all heard it said that traveling by air is safe. Statistics more than back up this claim. However, there are still some people out there who are absolutely terrified of flying. So terrified in fact, that some people go through some major anxiety attacks just thinking of the possibility of hoping on a plane. Are you one of these people and are you about to go on a trip somewhere? Then you’ve come to the right place. Although we won’t claim to be able to rid you of your flight anxiety, we just might be able to reduce it a bit. These are 25 Reasons Why Fear Of Flying Is Plane Silly (see what we did there, fear of flying…plane silly). Follow us on: Twitter: https://twitter.com/list25 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/list25 Website: http://list25.com Instagram: https://instagram.com/list25/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/list25/ See, flying is not so scary when you are aware of these facts and statistics: First of all, there are more than 10,000 planes in the air right now There are about 100,000 passenger flights scheduled every single day That's not even counting military, cargo, air taxis, and general aviation According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, in the United States alone 1.73 million people boarded flights every single day in 2010 Actually, flying is by far the safest form of travel You are 22 times more likely to be in an accident on the way to the airport in your car than you are during your flight Actually, if you do die on an airplane, it's more likely that you'll die of a heart attack or even choking on your food than falling out of the sky To be honest, even walking is more dangerous. According to the National Safety Council walking is one of the most dangerous modes of transport in terms of fatal accidents Going back to driving and car accidents, how often do you inspect your car? If ever? Well, planes are inspected constantly. After every single flight. Turbulence is actually not dangerous. Planes are no more likely to fall from the sky during heavy turbulence than in otherwise normal conditions And lightning strikes? Most airliners get hit on average every couple years but you wouldn't even know it. Actually, you're more likely to die getting hit by lightning on your way to get into your car to go to the airport To really blow your mind, you have a greater chance of dying by falling out of your bed Ok, let's put it this way, every year hippos kill more people than planes do In 2013 three billion people flew on airplanes. That's half the world's population. There were only 210 fatalities As humans, we tend to remember the catastrophes and forget everything else, so our memories are very biased Consider that most accidents happen during takeoff and landing. And the vast majority of those accidents are anything but fatal. Furthermore, consider that planes are lining up in front of you and behind you to takeoff The runway you are on has most likely seen constant use since its construction without a single accident Your pilot and copilot and entire flight staff have flown most of their careers and will continue flying for the rest of their careers The reason that these statistics will not make you feel any better is because your brain will release stress hormones as soon as you feel that little bit of turbulence And you will quickly forget these statistics. But you know what? We'll try one more anyway. You probably think that when you get in a car crash you have a good chance of surviving but as soon as the plane starts going down you're doomed right? Wrong. Even if you do somehow manage to get in a plane crash (you won't), you will almost certainly survive. Between 1993 and 2000 there were 568 plane crashes in the US involving 53,487 people. 51,207 survived. Actually, even on the worst 26 crashes, more than half of the passengers survived. See? Trip Report: Flying Delta from Atlanta to Phoenix

01:31:20
[Taken on 8-10-15] Come along on this almost 24 hour journey as we travel on Delta from the World's Busiest Airport in Atlanta, GA to Phoenix, AZ. I was flying there to visit family for a week before college started up for me. This trip was on a buddy pass system, so I do apologize about how long the video is, but this is what happens when you fly on stand by.. I really had lots of fun editing this and I hope you enjoy! (I noticed there is a typo as we take off from LAX. I posted in the video that we were talking off from Runway 26. I meant to say 25. But I am sure most of you who travel a lot will already know!) A Trip to the South Pole for FLAT EARTH Believers

03:09
All flat earthers say you can't travel to the South Pole - WRONG! This company that created this video, Adventure Network International, does it every year and they are doing it right now in December (since it is spring at the South Pole right now). The people at the south pole in this video are not saying anything about seeing Ice reaching into space or having any difficulty getting in or that the ice is holding the ocean from running over the edge of the flat earth. Flat earthers are trying to act authoritative by saying you can't go in, UN won't let you in, there are weapons lining the shores keeping us out and so forth. Bullshit! Here is a list of tourist agencies going to Antarctica https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=antarctica+tours Here is the link to this company that offer this special flight to the South Pole http://www.adventure-network.com/experiences/south-pole-flights

TRIP REPORT - SAS Scandinavian Airlines Economy Class flight from Frankfurt on an Airbus A320

AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vnB59Zi3AI&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gGcY8HOUkh-fWwELBYuWXn2 This is a flight review / trip report from our Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) flight from Frankfurt Airport to Copenhagen Airport onboard an Airbus A320 aircraft. This footage starts inside Frankfurt Airport where we are walking to our connection flight to Copenhagen. We have just arrived on a Lufthansa flight from Krakow, a country within the EU, and therefore, since we are flying to Copenhagen, also an EU country, we do not have to pass through passport control or security. We make our way down into the "cellar" at the airport from where we are taken in buses to the plane to make a tarmac embarkation. The ride to the aircraft is fantastic, a real treat for aircraft enthusiasts as there are some lovely views of Frankfurt Airport. We then arrive at our Aircraft, a Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A320 and begin boarding. Shortly after this we begin pushback and the we have a longish taxi, with lots to see, out to our takeoff runway. We then takeoff with a beautiful view over the City of Frankfurt. *This flight is a Lufthansa Code-share flight operated by SAS, however it is noteworthy to mention that even thou Scandinavian Airlines is flying this route on behalf of Lufthansa, Economy Class passengers do not get the same snack and beverage privileges as they would get on a Lufthansa Economy Class flight. For Example: We flew from Krakow to Frankfurt on a Lufthansa flight and were offered a small snack (cake) and even alcoholic beverages. It would be fitting that these privileges were automatically given to the passengers put on a codeshare flight. We were offered a free cup of good coffee onboard, although a bottle of water would cost 3 Euros. It would be a good service if SAS would at least offer a free cup of water to their Economy Class passengers on short haul flights. It is surely just as easy to have a jug of water on the trolley as it is to have coffee and tea to serve? *Our flight to Copenhagen was pleasant and the Scandinavian Airlines cabin crew were friendly, efficient and very professional. Our flight to Copenhagen was a little behind schedule as according to the captains own announcement we were flying into a strong headwind. All-in-all we enjoyed our approximately 1 hour and 10 minute flight onboard this Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) Airbus A320. We would happily fly short haul with this airline again, but do wish that they (SAS) would consider offering the same services to Economy Class passengers as Lufthansa do, or at least to passengers who are flying on a Lufthansa codeshare flight operated by SAS. TRIP REPORT - Lufthansa Economy Class flight to Frankfurt on a Boeing 737

AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vnB59Zi3AI&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gGcY8HOUkh-fWwELBYuWXn2 This is a flight review(Tripreport) for our Lufthansa Economy Class short haul flight from Krakow Airport to Frankfurt Airport. We are flying onboard a Boeing 737 Classic, the Boeing 737-330. This Boeing aircraft had her first flight in July 1991, so it should be fair to call her an "Old Lady". The footage begins as we arrive at Krakow Airport and make our way to the departures area. After we have checked in and cleared Passport Control we make our way to the small departure hall and gate area. After a brief tour of the departure terminal our Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt Germany begins boarding. It is a tarmac boarding which means that we are driven out to our Lufthansa Boeing 737 by bus. Viewers are then shown the boarding where we board at the rear entrance door of the aircraft. Shortly after the boarding process, pushback begins. We then start taxiing out towards the one and only runway at Krakow Airport, and as there is no other aircraft traffic ahead of us we immediately begin our takeoff run down the runway. The flight includes onboard footage of the outside of the plane, the inside of the cabin (passenger cabin) and various views from the rear which include the lavatories and galley. We then return to our seats for landing at Frankfurt Airport, where the disembarkation is also on the tarmac and we are driven to Terminal 1 by bus. On this flight we had an inflight snack and an inflight drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Both services were complimentary and the service was quick and efficient. The cabin crew even had time to offer us a second round of drinks if we so wished. The cabin crew on this flight were exceptionally pleasant and we believe that they were the friendliest crew we have ever flown with (note to a particular steward has been mentioned in the footage). Lufthansa if you are reading this review, we would like to let you know that the steward onboard this flight is an absolute asset to your airline! Thanks to this very pleasant flight experience we are looking forward to trying a Lufthansa Long Haul Flight in the future. To sum up, the friendliness of the cabin crew, the complimentary inflight "meal" (snack), the complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages made this a fantastic short haul flight experience. We would definitely happily choose to fly short haul with Lufthansa again! Thanks Lufthansa! TRIP REPORT - Brussels Airlines Economy Class flight to Brussels on an Airbus A319

AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vnB59Zi3AI&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gGcY8HOUkh-fWwELBYuWXn2 This is a Flight Review (Trip Report) of our Brussels Airlines Economy Class flight from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to Brussels Airport (BRU) onboard a Brussels Airlines Airbus A319. Our journey begins at the Copenhagen Airport Hilton Hotel where we are having breakfast as we have spent the night at the hotel in order to be able to catch our very early flight to Brussels. The footage then continues to Terminal 2 where we have just checked in for our flight. We then find ourselves in the Duty Free shopping area of the airport after passing security. We then proceed on to the restaurant "Viewing Area" of the airport (a tradition when we fly) before moving on to the Wing A gates from where our flight will be departing. The viewer then follows us on our walk down through wing A to our Gate where we get a view of our aircraft an Airbus A319-112 before boarding it. The viewer then gets some views of the cabin, taxiing, takeoff and landing. We did not receive any complimentary beverages or snacks on this flight, however there was an inflight food and drink menu available with a good selection of drinks and beverages available at reasonable prices (at least in our opinion). The flight was a standard pleasant European short-haul flight with a friendly and professional crew. We would not have a problem flying with this airline again in the future, although if we had a choice to fly with an airline that offers a complimentary beverage, we would choose that one. We hope you enjoy flying with us. The Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 (Airbus A319-112) we flew with had aircraft registration OO-SSN. This aircraft had her first flight in March 2003 and joined the Brussels Airlines fleet in June 2012. Prior to this the aircraft has also been operated by Air Canada, Skybus Airlines and Aerodynamics Inc (ADI). This Brussels Airlines flight review footage is filmed at the Copenhagen Hilton (Airport), Copenhagen Airport, Brussels Airport concourse A (BRU) and inside a Brussels Airlines Airbus A319. As you board the plane you get greeted by Finnair's northern lights ambient lighting and you can feel the freshness of the cabin air. The new overhead bins in the A350 are pretty nice in size and are placed closer to the ceiling which again creates more space to the economy cabin. In forward business cabin the middle overhead bin is removed which gives business passengers probably the most open cabin Airbus has ever provided so far. The windows in the A350 feel a fair bit larger than in older A330/A340s. The window blinds are standard manual ones but I didn't have any problem using them. Seats: Each seat is fitted with an 11 inch touchscreen inflight entertainment system and USB power outlet for charging your mobile devices. Also headphone jack is provided. The color scheme of the seats combined with the mood lighting creates really fresh and sophisticated feel also in the economy cabin. One disadvantage people might find is that the economy seat pitch is actually an inch smaller than in the older A330/A340 models. Finnair has compensated the affects of a smaller pitch by lifting the seat pocket higher and using seats which slide forward when reclined. The tray table feels pretty sturdy and folds in half when rised to the up position. The armrests in the other hand feel rather thin and light, but I don't think that will be an issue to the most of the passengers. WiFi: Finnair's new onboard WiFi is free of charge for business class passengers and economy class passengers who are oneworld frequent flyers with Emerald or Sapphire tier statuses. Other economy passengers can purchase the WiFi for 5€/one hour or 15€/full flight. I had some time to quickly try out the WiFi and I visited few websites and they opened up pretty well and didn't lag too much at all! Crew: The crew on board my flight was really nice and everyone was excited for the new airplane. This flight was the first A350 flight for many crew members, but that didn't interfere the level of service at all. Everybody was actually happy to chat about the new plane and let me film around the cabin and galleys. Even though the turnaround at Brussels was pretty hectic because of all the press, I still got a chance to visit the cockpit and meet the pilots. Smiling and happy crew really made this flight as great as it was! ©ViewsOfFlying2015

American Airlines Trip Report: Miami to Tampa

08:59
Well guys, This was just a short hop from Miami to Tampa on board one of American's newly renovated Boeing 737-800s. This flight was not anything special but I was surprised by the way the aircraft had been upgraded and I would recommend flying them as major changes had been made throughout the airline. If you were wondering, there was no drink or snack service because the flight was only 40 minutes long. Overall I was impressed with American's new service and I will consider flying them again.

Trip Report - Easyjet A320 | (MAN-AMS) Manchester to Amsterdam | U21831 Full Flight

12:55
▶️ A review onboard EasyJet flight 1831 on the 23rd July 2014. Route: Manchester (MAN/EGCC), UK to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS/EHAM), NL Callsign: U21831 (EZY16NG) Aircraft: A320-214 (G-EZWJ) Seat: 15F Cruising Altitude: 31,000ft Departure Time: 07:15 Arrival Time: 09:05 (1 hour ahead of UK time) Departure Runway: 05L Arrival Runway: 06 Comments: I'm not new to flying with Easyjet and again the service was fantastic. Easyjet must be one of the most consistent low-cost carriers in terms of customer service in my opinion. This flight was no different from other Easyjet flights I've been on; friendly cabin crew, informative updates from the flight decks, nice onboard food, and of course smooth flying! Trip Report : AtlasGlobal | Istanbul to Sulaymaniyah | KK6214 | A321 | Economy | IST - ISU Full HD

23:49
This is a trip review as I had the experience to travel with this company. Good meal, no personal screen (IFE), not very good seat quality, beautiful cabin crew what else? I arrived with a TK flight in Istanbul and I had to go out and re-check in... I asked for transit but nothing, so there are many shots from Ataturk Terminal. Also great scenery after take off with the city lights and the dawn... Atlasglobal, previously AtlasJet flight from Istanbul - Turkey to Sulaymaniyah - Iraq (Kurdistan) with good breakfast, nice flight, low load factor and it was just 15% cheaper from Turkish Airlines that flights also there. Flight in October 2015. Sulaymaniyah airport was small but clean with friendly people. A great place and many warm people are there. As about the 321 it was oldest aircraft I've ever travel with, just 19 years old. First flight 30. Aug 1996 Airbus A321 -131 Route: IST - ISU Airline: AtlasGlobal Flight no.: KK6214 Aircraft: Airbus A321-131 Registration: TC-ETN Class: Economy Later I will upload the return flight with Turkish Airlines.

Airplane Cabin White Noise Jet Sounds | Great for Sleeping, Studying, Reading & Homework | 10 Hours

10:00:00
Buy Airplane Cabin MP3: https://goo.gl/qn92DR You've reached cruising altitude on your transatlantic flight. The crew has turned on their cool new blue nighttime lights, and it's time to fall asleep. The super relaxing jet white noise will block out extraneous noise and calm your mind. You can also use it for studying, reading, homework, writer's block, etc. By the way, what's your favorite seat on the airplane? For instance, if I fly Southwest and can choose my seat, I always aim for the emergency exit row seats. They have so much more legroom. Also, there's one seat on each side of the aisle that has no seat in front of it, to make room in case people had to use the emergency exit. If you get that seat, you can recline your chair and stretch your legs out fully. Totally awesome. Okay, I'm curious to hear your seat favorites for long flights. © Relaxing White Noise LLC, 2015.
