From Satchel and Page:
A belt built to last forever. Leather, hardware, and width options for any occasion. Exceptional quality at every step of the process.
Satchel & Page belts:
1. Custom made for you. For any occasion. - With two width options (1.5 + 1.25), you are covered for casual wear with jeans, and formal/office wear with slacks. And with 4 leather and 4 hardware options, you can create a belt just how you want it. They all come with the same exceptional quality and lifetime guarantee.
2. The highest grade leather hides - 10 -12 oz. full-grain, vegetable tanned leather from only US origin cows. It's simple: The best hides make the best belts. See below infographic.
3. Military Grade brass hardware - We offer the standard antique brass and silver matte finishes, but we also wanted to offer some unique finishes that you can't find anywhere else. So we developed our own process to hand antique finish the Iron Rust and Copper Patina hardware, which makes each one of these buckles just a little different.
We are using Cast Brass Roller Buckles and Cast Brass Chicago screws in the construction of these belts.
Our buckles are military grade strength. We are using a roller buckle because it makes the belt easier to tighten while not rubbing on the leather.
We're using Chicago screws because unlike stitching, snap buttons, or rapid rivets to attach the buckle, they will never break. And you can also unscrew them and swap out the buckle if you wish. The Chicago screws will have the same finish as the buckles.
Simple. If this belt fails you in your lifetime (and we will be very surprised if it does), we will repair it or replace it.
We use 6-8 oz. vegetable
tanned leather which is

Our leather bags
Our bags are inspired by my Grandfather's Map Case from WWII. Like his bag, they are meant to be passed down to future generations.
The inspiration behind the Satchel & Page leather collection came from Daniel's grandfather and his map case from WWII. Check it out:
The bag holds stories of courage, resiliency, and love. The leather has aged with character and the bag is still going strong…about 70 years later…Which got Daniel thinking, "Why can’t I find products like this now?"
Most stuff out there is mass produced, disposable and poor quality. To get a decent leather briefcase, it will cost $500 - $1,000 and even then the quality is suspect. So we’re creating the highest quality leather bags possible. A bag that you will be proud to pass on to future generations.
Our designs are inspired by the great generation of the 1940s : Map case, Mailbag, Briefcase, Gladstone, Pilot's Bag. We have maintained the original styling of the era, but have added functionality for today's technology.
We launched our bag collection on Kickstarter in 2013 and are grateful for the support of 599 backers. Since then, we've designed a collection of leather jackets, inspired by military and riding jackets from the same era.
If you have any questions about our designs, we'd love to hear from you. And if you're ever around Austin, TX please drop us a note to check out our bags and jackets in person at our showroom.
