Bas Muys - It's for you

02:05
Lennon&McCartney wrote it for Cilla Black.Lyrics: I'd say some day, I'm bound to give my heart away, when I do,it's for you. Love, true love, seems to be all I'm thinking of, but it's true,it's for you. They said that love was a lie, told me that I should never try to find somebody who'd be kind, kind to only me. So I just tell them, they're right, who wants a fight? Tell them,I quite agree, nobody'd love me, then I look at you, and, love comes, love shows, I give my heart and no one knows that I do, it's for you, it's for you.

The Beats - I'll Keep You Satisfied (''Secret'' Album)

02:11
This song is from ''The Beatles'' argentine tribute band.In this occasion The Beats rejuvenated old Lennon and McCartney compositions virtually unpublished until now, that The Beatles were never recorded. They took these songs and worked on them to recreate the style and that the four spirits of Liverpool would have given at that time, the album that contains this song is ''Secret''. The Beats was born in 1987 thanks to its two founders, Patricio and Diego Pérez. In the year 1996, it was recognized as THE BEST BEATLE BAND IN THE WORLD by the Beatles Annual Convention from London and Liverpool. They have been praised by Allan Williams in England (first manager of the Beatles) who said: "They sounded even better than the Beatles when I took them to Hamburg" and Alistair Taylor (Brian Epstein’s personal assistant) who said: "It looks as if the Beatles were born again". Furthermore, they were recognized with important articles in the British newspapers Daily Post and Liverpool Echo. They were proud to represent Argentina once again in the "Rose Festival" in Hiroshima, Japan (Festival to commemorate the anniversary of the Atomic Bomb, May 1997), playing for ten thousand people, and appearing on television, newspapers and the radio. This Eastern tour was completed in the most important theatres in Kyoto, Ibara, Sapporo, Osaka, among others. They traveled back to England in August 1997, to launch the “Beatles Revival Show”, a show about the evolution of The Beatles represented by The Beats in the Empire Theatre of Liverpool. After the success achieved in their prior visit, they came back to Japan in October 1997 to make a one month tour travelling around Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuyama, Ibara, Kyoto and Tokyo, performing in the most important theatres of those cities. That same year they launched the “Beatles Revival Show" in Argentina, in the “Astros Theatre” in Corrientes Avenue, using more than twenty instruments from their personal collection, original equipment and exact clothing, respecting each of the stages of the English quartet, and performing five more times, due to the request of the audience. "Here are The Beatles" was the title given to the show launched in 1998 in the “Broadway Theatre” of our capital: a complete journey throughout all the stages of the four Liverpool geniuses, respecting the same sound of the original recordings together with string and wind instruments. The same year, they were invited again as guests of honour to the "Beatles Annual Convention" of London and Liverpool performing in L.I.P.A (Sir Paul McCartney auditorium), Strawberry Fields and Liverpool Cavern Club (Mathew Street), among others, closing the year in Argentina with the show “The Beats 10 years”, in the Broadway Theatre.

Nick Martellaro - I'll Keep You Satisfied (Billy J Kramer / Forgotten Beatles song cover)

DONATE: https://nickmartellaro.com/#donate :) MP3s + ISOLATED TRACKS on PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/nickmartellaro I've always particularly liked this song, written by the Beatles in 1963. It was recorded by Billy J. Kramer and The Dakotas in the same year. They do a great version, but in my opinion, the Beatles would have recorded it with more of a rock feel to it, with some signature "Beatles harmonies." Unfortunately, no actually recordings exist of the Beatles performing this song, so I tried my best to recreate this song adding some of my own arrangements, while trying to keep the original spirit of the song. I hope you like it, and I'm sorry I haven't uploaded a video in a long time! For all the music nerds, one thing I especially like about this song are two signature Lennon/McCartney techniques - the descending bass line that I'm sure McCartney suggested over the E - E7 - A - Am chords. And the ending chord before the break, at least on the original Dakotas recording, is an augmented chord, very typical of Lennon and the Beatles to do during this period. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy the video. More to come soon, I'm always taking requests, so don't hesitate! DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational purposes ONLY under fair use. From the album "Secret" of this argentinian beatleband (one of the best around the world). Lennon/McCartney song from 1965. Enjoy! : LYRICS Late yesterday night, I saw a light shine from a window, and as I looked again, your face came into sight. I couldn't walk on unil you'd gone from your window. I had to make you mine, I knew you were the one. Oh, I would be so glad just to have a love like that, oh, I would be true and I'd live my life for you. So meet me tonight, just where the light shines from a window, and as I take your hand, say that you'll be mine tonight. Oh, I would be so glad just to have a love like that, oh, I would be true and I'd live my life for you. So meet me tonight, just where the light shines from a window, and as I take your hand, say that you'll be mine tonight.

A huge 1963 hit for the immensely popular Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas which (written by Lennon and McCartney) peaked at #4. Peter and Gordon - and Cilla Black - were among other artists to have 1963 hits with songs penned by the two Beatles. They also wrote "Misery" for Helen Shapiro that year - and she turned it down!

Someday they'll see that from the start my place has been deep in your heart. And in your heart I see the love of the loved. Though I said it all before I will say it more and more, now that I'm really sure you love me. And I know that from today I'll see it in the way that you look at me and say ah you love me. The Beatles - Bad to Me [HD]

02:11
An original video made and edited by me, featuring one of, in my opinion, the best, yet overlooked, Beatles songs. :) "Bad to Me" is a song written by John Lennon, credited to Lennon/McCartney, that Lennon wrote for Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas while on holiday in Spain. They released the song in 1963 and it became their first #1 UK hit. Paul McCartney was present during the recording session at Abbey Road Studios. The single would be released in the USA the following year, and become a top-ten hit there, reaching number 9. It became the first Lennon/McCartney cover version to reach the US Top 40 for an artist other than the Beatles. Bootlegs exist of Lennon's original demo of the song, which was recorded on 31 May 1963. Graham Parker recorded a version of the song for the 2003 album Lost Songs of Lennon & McCartney, new versions of seventeen Lennon/McCartney songs that were originally released by other artists. Recordings of "Bad to Me" as The Beatles may have performed it are available on the 1989 album by Bas Muys entitled Secret Songs: Lennon & McCartney and on the 1998 release It's Four You by the Australian tribute band The Beatnix.

1963 #13. Bad To Me ~ Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas

02:20
"Bad to Me" is a song John Lennon wrote (credited to Lennon–McCartney) for Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas while on holiday in Spain. Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas released their recording of the song in 1963 and it became their first number 1 in the UK Singles Chart. Paul McCartney was present during the recording session at Abbey Road Studios. The single would be released in the US the following year, and become a top-ten hit there, reaching number 9. It became one of the first occasions a Lennon–McCartney composition made the US Top 40 recorded by an artist other than the Beatles (the first being "A World Without Love" by Peter & Gordon). Bootlegs exist of Lennon's original demo of the song, which was recorded on 31 May 1963. An acoustic demo from the same era was released on iTunes in December 2013 on the album The Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963. Terry Black released a version of the song on his 1965 debut album, Only 16. Graham Parker recorded a version of the song for the 2003 album Lost Songs of Lennon & McCartney, new versions of 17 Lennon–McCartney songs that were originally released by other artists. Leif Garrett also recorded a version of the song for his self-titled debut album. Finnish rock band Hurriganes covered this song in their third album, Crazy Days. Recordings of "Bad to Me" as the Beatles may have performed it are available on the 1989 album by Bas Muys entitled Secret Songs: Lennon & McCartney and on the 1998 release It's Four You by the Australian tribute band The Beatnix.

The Beatles - Love of the Loved (demo)

01:52
"Love of the Loved" is a song written mainly by Paul McCartney, credited to Lennon--McCartney. It is one of his earliest compositions and featured in the Beatles live act in their early days. The group recorded the song at their 1962 audition for Decca Records, but never issued it on any of their official releases. Instead, Cilla Black recorded it for her debut single, which was produced by George Martin. It was not a big hit for her, reaching #35 on the UK Singles Chart. Oddly, the Beatles audition version was left off Anthology 1, even though the other Lennon--McCartney originals from the same session, "Hello Little Girl" and "Like Dreamers Do", were included. Recordings of "Love of the Loved" as the Beatles may have performed it are available on the 1989 album by Bas Muys entitled Secret Songs: Lennon & McCartney and on the 1998 release It's Four You by the Australian tribute band The Beatnix. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Of_The_Loved

The Last Lennon McCartney Song
From a window (my version) with how to play the cords and song details in description.

02:21
Vocals : Denny Guitars : Denny Bass : Denny Drum : Denny "From a Window" is a song written by Paul McCartney, attributed to John Lennon and Paul McCartney, which was recorded by Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas. It was the sixth and final Lennon–McCartney composition given to Kramer. Kramer recorded the song on 29 May 1964 at Abbey Road Studios. George Martin produced the session, which was attended by Lennon and McCartney. McCartney can be heard at the very end of the song, harmonizing on the final word. "From a Window" was released as a UK single on 17 July 1964: its peak that August at no. 10 represented an abrupt drop in popularity for Kramer & the Dakotas whose previous chart history comprised four Top 5 hits, two of them no. 1's. The follow-up, "It's Gotta Last Forever", fell short of the UK Top 50; the subsequent "Trains and Boats and Planes" at no. 12 punctuated their two-year UK chart career in the summer of 1965. In the US — with "I'll Be on My Way" serving as the B-side — "From a Window" reached no. 23 in October 1964. It was the band's fourth US Top 40 hit in a five-month period, and also their last. Chad & Jeremy recorded "From a Window" in a December 1964 New York City recording session produced by Jimmie Haskell; the track was featured on the February 1965 album release Chad & Jeremy Sing For You. World Artists Records issued the track as a single that June; by then Chad & Jeremy had more current releases on Columbia Records but their version of "From a Window" received enough regional attention to register on the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 97. Billy J. Kramer's version of "From a Window" was included on the 1979 compilation album The Songs Lennon and McCartney Gave Away. "From a Window" has also been recorded by Cisse (fi) (album Teen Dreams/ 1976) and by Graham Parker (album From a Window: Lost Songs of Lennon & McCartney/ 2003). A cover for the Mexican market: "Desde mi ventana", was recorded by both Los Hermanos Carrión (es) and Sandro y los de Fuego. Recordings of "From a Window" as The Beatles may have performed it are available on the 1989 album by Bas Muys entitled Secret Songs: Lennon & McCartney and on the 1998 release It's Four You by the Australian tribute band The Beatnix. It has also been covered by Seattle-based Beatles cover band Apple Jam on their album Off The Beatle Track. (Source from wikipedia) Don't forget to like and subscribe, thank you for watching.
