You just earned a new subscriber and a look at your Etsy shop! Lovely tutorial. I always wondered how to properly close the jump rings. Useful for fixing broken jewelry as well.

Would this work with a hemp necklace?

Could you tell me how much it would cost to make a leather or cord necklace?
JewelryTutorialHQ (3 years ago)
Hi +Willie McCowan, are you wanting to make one yourself? I would think you should be able to make one necklace for under $2. It will depend mostly on the material for the clasps - sterling silver will be much more expensive than silver plate or base metal, for example. If you would like me to make it for you I can certainly do that but it would be a bit more expensive to account for labor (and then add shipping). I'm happy to work with you on this - you can contact me through my etsy shop here: http://bespangledbeads.etsy.com (I also sell the supplies if you'd like to make some yourself). Thanks for your question! Jessica
